An easy tip to make your affirmations work better for you

september-affirmationIn one of my earlier posts you may have read that I set myself up for a lot of stress when reading aloud my daily affirmations. One reason was that I did ‘not have enough time’ to gather knowledge on how I would make my dreams come true. Paradigm Shift: Part 3 – The first 90 days – Review

gc_affirmCongratulations! You have made it through the first 90 days!

You may have experienced that throughout these 3 months at some point in time, you may have unintentionally replaced “the next 90 days” with “the rest of my life”. It happened to me and it was rather funny when I heard myself say this. It was a testament that I had changed my paradigm and it demonstrated the power that lies in this process.

I do not recommend to change it permanently however. Keep the “90 days”. This makes it easier to change your affirmations once in awhile… and in fact, even on day 89, you have already committed yourself to continue on for another 90 days anyway. The end sentence is a great trick and it works wonders!

I also noticed that it was quite easy to remember my huge list of affirmations but I felt something was missing when I was just “reading” them so I started to experiment and tried to find ways to make them become more powerful. Here is what I discovered… Read more
