Since I have noticed similar problems in almost all of the sessions that I provided, I decided to write a little bit about it in generic terms.

One of the first problems people have is that they don't know what they want. You may have known what you wanted as a young child but over time society, culture and environment polished you into who you are right at this moment. It is said that "environment is more important than heredity" - meaning that <strong>the people that you interact and meet up with are more important factors to who you will end up becoming than what is in your DNA</strong>

A lot of times, people don't know what they want because they have been conditioned and because the people around them tell them that their dreams are "impossible!"... so they just give up on them.

What I'm about to tell you today may seem radical. Procrastination is <strong>the habit of putting the wrong priorities on tasks</strong>. It's not that you don't know that it's important - you DO know it's important - but that it's just so much easier to do those five smaller things instead of clearing this one hurdle. Quantity does not make up for quality though!

In it is described how to overcome your fears by looking at the worst possible outcome, accepting it as a possibility and looking at even it would happen if that would open up other opportunities events for you. After accepting the possibility of the worst case scenario, you no longer need to worry about it. You already know what 'can' happen. This gives you a clear mind - the tool you need to start looking at the opportunities and solutions instead of the problems.

Now, if your worries or anxieties are sending you at times in a state of shock or if you need some extra help, you might want to check out paraliminals. Paraliminals are a tool created by Paul R. Scheele of Learning Strategies in Minnesota. If the name sounds familiar, it might be because he has spent his career on helping people develop and reach their fullest potential, on of the techniques being speedreading, which I will devote an article to later. Most of the illnesses as well as stress and depression is the result of worries. Often worries are completely unwarranted for as only 10% of those dreadful scenarios really come to pass. Since there was no course on how to overcome worries, Dale decided to write one himself, to be used in his adult education. 

If worries are holding you back from going after your dreams, if you feel like you're stuck and don't know what it is that you truly want and you still have to "make a living" in the meanwhile, get this book. You may have experienced that throughout these 3 months at some point in time, you may have unintentionally replaced "the next 90 days" with "the rest of my life". It happened to me and it was rather funny when I heard myself say this. It was a testament that I had changed my paradigm and it demonstrated the power that lies in this process.

I do not recommend to change it permanently however. Keep the "90 days". This makes it easier to change your affirmations once in awhile... and in fact, even on day 89, you have already committed yourself to continue on for another 90 days anyway. The end sentence is a great trick and it works wonders!

I also noticed that it was quite easy to remember my huge list of affirmations but I felt something was missing when I was just "reading" them so I started to experiment and tried to find ways to make them become more powerful.
